Ongoing Atrocity in Saskatoon
The ongoing BLT-L humanized COVID-19 vaccine research project at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon has captured my attention primarily because of the large numbers of aborted babies required for the creation of a continuous supply of BLT-L mice, but also because of the involvement of three notable US government-affiliated research and funding trails leading to the governments of Canada, China and the US. Dr. Angela Rasmussen, Person of Interest
The Saskatoon BLT-L mouse program story keeps expanding. The addition of a person of great interest, top US government scientist, Angela Rasmussen, to the plot line has opened a grand vista of connections between the University of Saskatchewan, Columbia University, the Chinese Communist government and several US government agencies.
Dr. Angela Rasmussen, well-known on Twitter as a fierce vocal advocate of Faucian policies and an anti-lab-leak proponent, made headlines in the biomedical community when it was announced last December she would be leaving a prestigious position at Columbia University's Center of Infection and Immunity for what seemed like an obscure job as virology faculty advisor at VIDO-InterVac in Saskatoon. As mentioned in a previous article, VIDO-InterVac is an international vaccine research center working in collaboration with Kerry Lavender's BLT-L humanized mouse COVID-19 vaccine research project.
Dr. Rasmussen's formidable Curriculum Vitae reveals the following:
Principal Investigator on a cooperative agreement with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to investigate host responses associated with tolerance to infection with Ebola virus and MERS-CoV. § Lead scientist on contracts with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and the National Biodefense and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), investigating the host transcriptional response to infection with multiple emerging pathogens with significant relevance to biodefense (Ebola and Burkholderia pseudomallei). § Directly supervise a veterinarian-scientist performing all high-containment work on BSL-4 pathogens as a special volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories Integrated Research Facility.
A recent disclosure statement by Angela Rasmussen confirms that her Research funded by DARPA, DTRA, NIAID, and FastGrants. One example: Angela and her former boss at Columbia University, W. Ian Lipkin MD, received $1,928,869 over two years from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency for "Determination and Understanding of Quantitative Infectious Dose for Ebola Virus."
Incidentally, the University of Saskatchewan, where VIDO-InterVac is located, has received over $1 million in grants from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since 2018, as well as funding from the HHS and NIH.
More on Dr. W. Ian Lipkin
A July 1, 2021 Fox News article reported on Dr. Lipkin's extensive ties to the Chinese government. in 2016, Lipkin, received China’s top science honor for foreign scientists at a ceremony in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In early 2020, the government of China honored Dr. Lipkin with a medal recognizing his profound impact on China, stating that, "For nearly 20 years, Lipkin . . . has worked closely with scientists and officials in China to strengthen its public health system and protect its people from infectious disease outbreaks."
The government of China also awarded Dr. Lipkin a medal in January, 2021. Among other things, they honored him for helping to strengthen the public health system in China when the SARS outbreak in China occurred in 2003,
Once the outbreak was contained, Lipkin helped develop the institutional infrastructure to ensure China would have the resources to detect and more rapidly respond to emerging infectious threats, in part through building the Institut Pasteur in Shanghai, new national Centers for Disease Control in Beijing, and the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health.
The Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health is particularly significant since one of its departments, the Guangzhou Department of Respiratory Health and the South China Vaccine Institute signed a collaborative agreement with VIDO-InterVac in 2013 to develop an RSV vaccine. Guangzhou Department of Respiratory Health and South China Vaccine Institute are also listed as 2019-2020 contributors to VIDO-InterVac in their Annual Financial Report.
Furthermore, Columbia University has been the recipient of millions in foreign funding from China. Reportedly, the university has been showered with at least $17.7 million from China for research.
Columbia University also hosted a controversial Confucius Institute on its campus which has been recently shut down.
The University of Saskatchewan's Chinese Government Ties
Not surprisingly, the University of Saskatchewan has lucrative links to the Chinese government. They proudly celebrate the fact that the Beijing Institute of Technology, which is a Chinese-government owned institution, is their flagship partner. The University of Saskatchewan's website states that they have had an established MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with BIT since 2012.
There is an active Confucius Institute operating at the University of Saskatchewan. The university received a "Confucius Institute of the Year Award" which at a ceremony held in Xi’an, China from December 12 to 13, 2017. Karen Chad, the University of Saskatchewan's Vice-President of Research, received the award from Ms. Liu Yandong, the Vice Premier Minister of China.
VIDO-InterVac at the University of Saskatchewan where Angela Rasmussen is now employed also receives funding from several Chinese entities as reported in this list from their website.
Angela Rasmussen was also an invited speaker at the Cell Press-Beijing Online Conference in November, 2020, as noted in her curriculum vitae.
Interestingly, before leaving Columbia University for her new job in Saskatoon, Angela Rasmussen found it necessary to make a full disclosure about her ties to China. She tweeted on Jan, 21, 2021, that "And I've never been funded by China, the CCP, or any foundation associated with either."
Angela Rasmussen's Current Work at VIDO-InterVac
Since June of this year, Angela Rasmussen has been working as Research Scientist III (Associate Professor equivalent) at VIDO-InterVac in Saskatoon. Her job description from her curriculum vitae states that she is "Principal Investigator leading a lab studying host responses to emerging virus infections § Leading several studies including host response to SARS-CoV-2 in animal models."
Three Top US Researchers in Saskatoon
Also working at VIDO-InterVac as a Research Scientist is Darryl Falzarano (noted as the inventor of a MERS vaccine for camels), who is collaborating with former NIH Researcher Kerry Lavender on a multi-million dollar project developing a pan-coronavirus vaccine for humans. using the BLT-L (implanted with human fetal liver, thymus and lung) humanized mouse as explained in previous articles here and here.
Darryl explains the project in the video below. He claims camels are a reservoir for coronavirus, so he developed a camel coronavirus vaccine because they thought it was "more efficient to target the camels and not the people" to prevent transmission to humans. VIDO-InterVac is the first lab in Canada to isolate SARS-CoV2 from a clinical sample. Kerry Lavender explains in her video interview that it is Darryl's job to inject SARS-CoV2 into the fetal human lung patches on her BLT-L mice.
Darryl Falzarano received his post-doctoral training at NIH Rocky Mountain Laboratory in Hamilton, MT, where Kerry Lavender worked for several years developing a BLT mouse (implanted with fetal liver, thymus and bone marrow) for HIV research. As noted above in Angela Rasmussen's curriculum vitae, she also worked at the Rocky Mountain Lab supervising work on BSL-4 pathogens.
Darryl Falzarano and Angela Rasmussen have collaborated on a number of scientific studies published on the NIH website.
NIH-trained COVID-19 "Dream Team" in Saskatoon
The fact that three top NIH-associated researchers are involved in Kerry Lavender's gruesome BLT-L COVID-19 vaccine research project raises many questions. Kerry remarked in her interview that they have assembled a "dream team" in Saskatoon, and that she and Darryl are doing what their combined NIH training prepared them to do. So we are to conclude that the NIH trained Kerry Lavender to perfect the development of mice with engrafted human fetal immune systems, and Darryl was trained to make vaccines. Angela's role in this project remains unclear, but she has worked extensively for DARPA and DTRA on viruses for biodefense projects which lends an even more sinister atmosphere to this project.
The Chinese government connection with the University of Saskatchewan and Columbia University is not comforting, either. As discussed in a previous article, "Columbia University Professor's Long Collaboration with a Chinese Communist Agent on BLT Mice," Dr. Megan Sykes has been working for years with a Chinese scientist on developing BLT mice at Columbia University. I found twelve studies co-authored by Sykes and Yang involving human fetal liver and thymus obtained from Advanced Bioscience Resources.
As documented in another article, Kerry Lavender has also used human fetal liver and thymus obtained from ABR to make her BLT mice and is currently involved in making a continuous supply of Ralph Baric's BLT-L mice humanized with human fetal liver, thymus and lung in Saskatoon.
Conclusion
Whatever the end goal of this pan-coronavirus vaccine project in Saskatoon is, it involves top US researchers trained by the NIH, the Canadian government (which has given VIDO-InterVac $59.2 million for this coronavirus vaccine project), the US government, and the Chinese government and involves the making of large numbers of highly specialized and most humanized chimeric animal models found in current publicly available scientific literature, which require the use of"fresh and never frozen" organs from hundreds of aborted babies.
The fact that there is an inordinately large number (17) of abortion clinics in the small Canadian mountain town of Saskatoon will be the subject of a future article.
