Columbia University Professor's Long Collaboration with a Chinese Communist Agent on BLT Mice

I have written before about how Columbia University offers HIS (human immune system) mice for COVID-19 vaccine testing and research. Researchers have the option of having the mice humanized with human fetal thymus. This program is under the direction of Professor Megan Sykes, Director of the Columbia Center for Translational Immunology. These HIS humanized mice are also used for personalized analysis of human diseases. The mice models are called "Personalized Immune" mice and are used to customize treatments for diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis..

In a fascinating turn of events, Gateway Pundit published an article entitled, "National Institutes of Health Funding Connected to Chinese Military and Organ Harvesting," which reports on the fact that Megan Sykes authored an NIH-funded scientific study in October, 2021, in cooperation with a scientist named Yong-Guang Yang, affiliated with Columbia University and the Laboratory of Organ Regeneration and Transplantation of The First Hospital of Jilin University, China.

According to the Gateway Pundit article, Yong-Guang Yang was awarded $6.6 million in NIH funding from 2006 to 2016. A look at several of Yang's projects entitled "Small Animal Core"conducted at Columbia University and Massachusetts General Hospial reveals that he was making humanized mice with human fetal thymus tissue.

Further investigation reveals many more NIH-funded studies in which both Yong-Guang Yang and Megan Sykes collaborated, which also involved the use of fetal liver and thymus, often noted as being obtained from Advanced Bioscience Resources, which has been exposed by Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress as being Planned Parenthood's aborted baby organ trafficking partner and having provided fetal tissue for NIH researchers on many occasions:

  • October, 2017 study entitled, "Type 1 diabetes induction in humanized mice," in which several of the researchers are from The First Hospital, Jilin University, Changchun, China. A screenshot of the Methods section reveals that human fetal thymus tissue was obtained from Advanced Bioscience Resources.

  • A June 1, 2018 study entitled, "Hypercholesterolemia induces T cell expansion in humanized immune mice, also used fetal thymus and CD34+ cells (extracted from fetal liver). Screenshot:

  • A Feb 13, 2019 study entitled, "Posttransplant Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis Driven by Myeloid Cytokines and Vicious Cycles of T-Cell and Macrophage Activation in Humanized Mice," which used fetal thymus and liver obtained from ABR: Screenshot from the Methods section:

In all there appear to be twelve NIH-funded studies which involve the use of fetal liver and thymus on the NIH website from 2004 to 2019.

Additionally, there is an August 2020 study authored by Megan Sykes which uses human fetal thymus and liver obtained from ABR. Screenshot:

Megan Sykes' close academic relationship with Yong-Guang Yang is of particular interest because of Yang's suspicious profile. The Gateway Pundit article suggests that Yang is "an operator for the Chinese Communist Party" and lists his activities.

According to the Gateway article, the hospital in China with which Yang is affiliated, the Hospital of Jilin University, has been accused of practicing forced, live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.

The fact that Megan Sykes and Yong-Guang Yang have authored many NIH-funded studies involving the use of aborted baby organs from Planned Parenthood's organ trafficker, ABR, raises many questions about the US federal government's organ trafficking network and its possible link with Chinese organ traffickers.

It would appear that Chinese scientist Yong-Guang Yang was being funded by the NIH to collaborate with American researchers to learn how to make BLT mice. Sharing this ghoulish technology with the Chinese Communist government for what purpose?

A diagram of Human Immune System (BLT) mice. The "FL" and "FT" refer to human fetal liver and human fetal thymus. Human CD34+ cells are derived from the same human fetal liver and injected in the tail of the mouse to form bone marrow.

As shall be seen in my next article, the ongoing BLT-L humanized mice project in Saskatoon also has links to Chinese investors and Chinese government agencies.
